Dropping by just to let you know that I haven't died yet and plan to come back swinging xD Work eats up a lot of my time lately and although it involves me lurking in PS all day it is all web design stuff which I do not want to upload on this account. Will probably make an update on my other one soon about that. Anyway, at the end of the day I am so sick and tired of looking at PS that I have no wish to draw when I get back home and thus my general absence the last year or so. I plan to change that soon having so much shit in my head that I have at least try to bring to life.
On another note one deviant ( MaxDocker ) contacted me for some Vue asteroid rendering tips and I recorded a quick video. Decided to link it here because it is a quick way to get fairly detailed asteroids.

Hi all,
I have not been around for quite a while and I don't create much these past years. My life took into another direction but I still lurk around and get excited about the things that you upload. Digital art is still a vital part to my (in)sanity and every time I find a new good up and coming artist I get all excited about him/her. I want to present to your attention a new artist, who is a friend of mine and has some mad skills. He is new in dA and new to the digital painting but his progress from painting to painting is insane.

The Luminarium Presents our 16th Exhibit: Asylum. Escape...we long for it. We long to just run away from the insanity of this world-from reality itself. We seek asylum in the darkness, in the safe havens, in the deep, and the beyond. We cover ourselves from persecution, seeking to destroy our being. We awake from our worst dreams, hoping for a better reality. No matter what, when reality hits us hard, we all hide; we all find refuge, be it mental or physical. This is our escape. This is our Asylum.

The Luminarium presents our 14th exhibit and it is one of our biggest-an exhibit our artists have attacked with energy. Sound, movement, and life, they all have one thing in common...energy. Energy can be found in some of the strangest and subtle forms, from right here on our very own planet to the deep areas of space. Energy is everywhere. We may not always be looking for it or see it with our eyes, but hidden beneath what we cannot see is something powerful and once it takes over you, there's no stopping it. It's up to you to harness that energy and use it.
