Man, you've almost perfected this technique of creating realistic nebulae, you really improved your skills with the fractal blending. I always enjoy the colors you use, not too crazy, but definitely vibrant enough to "wow" the viewer. The shapes of dust are coming along very well, they look fairly realistic in this particular piece.

Now for some tips you can apply: There still of course, are parts where its too "fractal" looking, the areas with sharp straight lines, everyone who uses apophysis runs into this problem, the most helpful advice I can give is to use the smudge tool at about 50-75% opacity, just to smooth out the jagged areas that look like lines (particularly the lower part of this piece). Trust me, this will blend in the scene a whole lot better, giving it more depth, and more of a realistic look.

If some parts of your nebulae are looking too plain, you can always take a flame (or even some hurricane/cloud images from nasa), shrink it down to a very small size, and place it in the spot that looks dull. Thats one of my main techniques when creating nebulae, I put little pieces together like a puzzle almost, it gives a lot more detail because the flames are shrunk down, anything that's smaller looks higher in quality. Give it a shot, using them on "screen" of course.

The star field is one other thing that I think brings this piece down just a bit, there aren't that many bright stars, I know this is just a doodle, so I'm probably wasting my time telling you this, I'm sure you are aware I've learned using a good amount of larger stars really clamps everything together.

Even for a "doodle" This is a fairly great piece man, I definitely enjoy looking at it, and I'm certain is poses great inspiration for other space artists. Keep it up, and hopefully the next piece we see from you will have hours and hours of work spent on it

Great work again bud
